demo problem

I get the same exception in all 3 demos, i've downloaded from the site:

//InvalidOperationException was unhandled//
Both a valid vertex shader and pixel shader (or valid effect) must be set on the device before draw operations may be performed.

I get this during the run of the program, right before base.Draw(gameTime)

I didn't change code in examples and I added the references to Animation.dll & Animation.Content.dll to my project but the situation is the same.

Does anybody have any ideas why is that happening?

Did the spacewar example that come with XNA work correctly in your machine ??? may be its a problem with your graphic card...

You need a card that supports pixel shader 2.0

You're right, people, my videocard supports only shaders v1.1, but I got Spacewar example running on my machine by turning off the reflections on the models in the progam code. FBX models from spacewar work in my custom wrote programs without any problems.

So there's absoulutly no chance to get the Animation components work with the elder shaders?

I don't think so, unless you write your own matrix palette effect in 1.1

Also, from what I've seen, 1.1 cards won't even load models in XNA.
