Trouble loading models from within a class

I'm attempting to use the animation library from inside of a class with little success. Just to cut to it, I'll list off everything I can think of about working with this.

- If I create and use the ModelAnimator from the main game class, it works fine.
- I get no errors while using the ModelAnimator from within my class.
- I went through the trouble of hooking up the source project to my project in order to debug. When running from my class, both update and draw are called successfully, but nothing is drawn on screen.
- I have no problem drawing the model through traditional methods after loading with the custom content processor. i.e. looping through the meshes and calling mesh.Draw().

I'm at a loss here. I've been messing around with this for hours and I'd really like to be able to use this library. Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
